Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of client incidents and drive to resolution.

* Experiment with and understand new Bottomline product releases and tool sets
* Assist with the development and maintenance of best practices within the Technical Services department.

* Provide mentoring to Level I analysts.
* Participate in After Hours support program
* Create and maintain Bottomline knowledge base information.

Requirements:    
* Ability to problem solve on the fly and develop unique approaches to use of Bottomline product suite.
* Ability to learn new concepts and apply them quickly
Communication Skills  - Ability to listen and hear what is not being said.  Ability to pass on knowledge gathered to other analysts.  Possess good written communication skills. 
* Ability to determine if problem is product or system in origin.  Ability to apply concepts such as logical statements and formulas to provide practical solutions to design problems.   
* A solid understanding of O/S platforms is necessary (Unix, Windows, Linux).  Needs an advanced understanding of networking, programming languages, and interfaces.
* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret logs in evaluating functional issues. 
* Maintaining effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities, and people.
* Active participation in team effectiveness; taking actions that demonstrate consideration for the feelings and needs of others; being aware of the effect of one?s behavior on others.  Providing leadership to analyst teams.
* Establishing a course of action for self and/or others to accomplish a specific goal; planning proper assignments of personnel and appropriate allocation of resources.


Education:
Bachelors degree from four-year college or university 

Work Experience:
Three years experience in a direct customer service role.  Two-years experience in a major HIS or ERP environment preferred.  Experience with the following operating systems is required: UNIX, Linux, or Windows. </description>
