To be considered for this position, you must have understanding of how the hospital business office operates ? billing, claims, charging, follow-up on claims and accounts, cash collections, payment posting, electronic remittance, claims and processes.  Because the Epic Procedure Master Analyst will bring the clinical and financial team into discussion to determine the workflows, you must have strong written and verbal communication ability.

In this role, you will consolidate the current CDMs into a single file, consolidate a variety of similar charge items into a single record and map these items to the Epic Procedure Master (EAP) file.  You should understand the current state of LMHS CDM and will work closely with finance to develop the Epic Procedure Master (EAP) and the Epic fee schedules. You will also work with the Epic clinical development teams to design the Charging workflows as it relates to the clinical workflow. You will ensure that charges are being posted to the correct revenue center, with the appropriate charge amount and that the required data from the payers is properly warehoused in the EAP record to ensure the LMHS claims are submitted compliantly and appropriately.

Two plus years working in a hospital billing office and a strong knowledge of CPT and HCPCS coding requirements required.  Epic HB certification and Epic EAP experience preferred.
